The Life FT Active Wheelchair combines lightweight portability with long-term adaptability. Built for adolescents, this folding wheelchair suits both young adults and smaller children, thanks to its adjustable design and tailored frame options.
Choose from fixed-front frames—with straight, abduction, or inset configurations—or opt for a swing-away front hanger that supports easy standing transfers. Each side includes a 2.5cm abduction for greater forward stability, helping users feel secure and supported during daily tasks.
A safari-style brake, conveniently placed in the skirtguard panel, allows quick stopping without leaning forward. This design improves safety and confidence, especially for younger users learning to navigate independently.
You can also adjust key performance features as your needs evolve. The Life FT includes a height-adjustable axle plate, variable bucket settings, and a centre of gravity adjustment between 2.3cm and 8.3cm. These settings allow for better balance, propulsion efficiency, and overall performance as the user grows.
