Its deeply contoured design cradles the body to improve stability, reduce pressure, and promote a balanced sitting posture. The cushion combines high-density moulded foam with a viscoelastic memory foam topper to deliver outstanding support throughout the day.
The cushion is ideal for people who need advanced skin protection, enhanced pelvic positioning, or improved lower limb alignment. It also suits users who require a high level of postural support while spending long periods in their wheelchair.
The deeply contoured base helps stabilise the pelvis and reduces unwanted movement. Anti-thrust shaping limits forward sliding and encourages a secure sitting position. Integrated abductor and adductor supports help guide the legs into improved alignment, increasing stability and comfort during everyday activities.
A pre-ischial shelf supports the pelvis and helps maintain proper positioning. Sub-trochanter support improves femoral alignment and encourages a more balanced posture. Together, these features help reduce fatigue and improve sitting tolerance throughout the day.
The viscoelastic memory foam topper conforms to the user’s body and redistributes pressure across a larger surface area. This helps reduce peak pressure beneath vulnerable areas while increasing comfort during prolonged sitting.
The TRU-Comfort 2 SPP includes a breathable Coolcore® four-way stretch cover that helps regulate temperature and manage moisture. Convenient side pockets provide storage for personal items, while an optional polyurethane liner offers added protection against moisture and incontinence.
