The Acclaim VE pressure care mattress combines advanced visco-elastic castellated foam with integral block foam side formers to deliver excellent stability during patient transfers. This construction reduces the risk of falls and enhances safety when moving in and out of bed.
The mattress features a unique “U” foam design for the side walls and base. This design not only provides firm support but also allows the mattress to contour perfectly with profiling bed platforms. As a result, it offers optimal pressure relief and comfort throughout the night.
Additionally, the mattress cover uses a high-quality PU multi-stretch fabric. This cover is water-resistant, vapour permeable, and includes welded seams to prevent moisture ingress and improve hygiene. The 270° zip with a protective flap ensures easy removal and cleaning.
For added safety, the top cover has a white inner substrate. This helps caregivers quickly spot any cover damage or strike-through, maintaining a clean and safe environment. Moreover, the mattress offers a 2-way turn and features an X-ray translucent cover, making medical imaging simple without needing to remove the mattress.
