The Acorn Straight Stairlift delivers a safe and comfortable ride every time. Powered by DC batteries that recharge automatically after each trip, it provides a seamless experience, even during power cuts. The stairlift plugs directly into a standard mains socket, keeping the batteries fully charged and ready to use.
Its slim, foldable design allows the seat, arms, and footrest to fold neatly away when not in use, leaving plenty of space for others to use the stairs. Since the rail attaches directly to the stairs—not the wall—there’s no need for structural changes to your home.
Operation is easy with large-button remote controls that let you send or call the lift between floors. Five safety sensors on the footrest and carriage automatically stop the lift if an obstruction is detected, ensuring maximum protection. The diagnostic display clearly shows the stairlift’s status, making maintenance simple and stress-free.
The Acorn Straight Stairlift also features an electro-mechanical braking system with a fail-safe over-speed governor for extra safety.
