The cushion suits people who experience pelvic instability or postural asymmetry. It also benefits users who need targeted pressure relief, improved pelvic positioning, or enhanced lower limb alignment. Clinicians can also configure the cushion to provide controlled hip abduction or adduction support where needed.
The anatomically shaped pelvic well encourages a neutral pelvic position. A contoured base supports the thighs and promotes improved posture throughout the day. Clinicians can adjust the modular components during an assessment to achieve the best possible fit. This allows them to respond quickly to changing clinical needs without replacing the entire cushion.
Pressure-diffusing foam spreads pressure more evenly beneath the pelvis. This helps reduce peak pressure around the ischial area and supports users who face a higher risk of pressure damage. A rear relief channel reduces pressure beneath the coccyx, providing additional protection and comfort during prolonged sitting.
The Vario Origin Cushion includes a breathable Coolcore cover that helps manage heat, moisture, and shear forces. This promotes skin health while improving comfort throughout daily use. An internal moisture-resistant liner protects the cushion and increases its durability.
