Looking for a lightweight yet powerful mobility solution? The Empulse WheelDrive Wheelchair Power Assist is designed to give you the extra push you need without compromising independence. This unique power assist system replaces your current wheelchair wheels with two powered wheels, each containing a lightweight, removable lithium battery.
Installation is effortless — no tools or modifications required. Just pop off your existing wheels and fit the WheelDrive wheels in their place. When needed, you can easily switch back to your manual wheels in seconds.
What sets the Empulse WheelDrive Wheelchair Power Assist apart is its dual rim design. The larger outer rim delivers a push-assist mode, enhancing every push to reduce strain and increase distance. The smaller inner rim activates continuous drive, giving you the power to cruise without pushing — ideal for longer trips or steeper terrain.
You can choose from three speed settings in each mode. Push-assist reaches up to 6.2 mph, while continuous drive offers a smooth ride at up to 4 mph. A built-in downhill speed limiter ensures controlled and safe descents, giving you peace of mind on any slope.
Each wheel weighs just 11.5 kg, making them easy to handle and transport. The batteries charge fully in just 2 hours and are airline-friendly, giving you freedom to travel.
