The Progeo Ego Manual Wheelchair is a true innovation in wheelchair design. Unlike standard folding chairs, the Ego uses Progeo’s unique Syncro Motion Folding Axle system. This exclusive design delivers a rigid ride feel, ensuring excellent drive performance without sacrificing the convenience of a folding frame.
When locked into place, the Ego’s axle becomes fully rigid—meaning none of your energy is lost to frame flex. Instead, every push translates directly into smooth, efficient movement. This gives you more control, more responsiveness, and a more comfortable ride.
Although incredibly strong, the Progeo Ego Manual Wheelchair remains lightweight. The total weight is just 9.8 kg, and the transport weight is only 7.2 kg, making it easy to lift and store. It folds quickly and compactly, fitting easily into car boots or travel storage.
Customisation is where the Ego truly shines. You can personalise nearly every aspect of the chair—from seating, sideguards, footrests, and push handles, to the wheels and carbon-shell AIR backrests. Choose from 11 striking frame colours and 9 accent colours to match your personal style.
The chair also pairs perfectly with power add-ons such as the Permobil SmartDrive, letting you convert it into a powered solution when needed.
