Built into a modern open frame, the Argon 2 is the ideal combination of both a rigid and adjustable active chair. Thanks to its wide range of adjustment possibilities, the Argon 2 is the ideal chair for someone who's currently looking to develop their driving capabilities and will over time require more active wheelchair settings.
The Argon 2 offers full adjustability without compromising on performance. With the infinitely adjustable center of gravity you can quickly change your drive settings from a stable performance to a more active setting. The seat height is adjustable in 1cm increments so can be easily adapted for changing needs and the backrest, height and upholstery tension can be easily adjusted for an optimum seating position.
The frame of the Argon 2 is made from Aluminium which has been heat treated using a process called hydra-forming so its strength is increased yet the tube walls can remain thinner and lighter than many other wheelchairs , meaning its one of the most energy efficient wheelchairs on the market today.
The Argon 2's ultra-light weight of 8kg (6kg with the quick release wheels removed) means its super easy to lift and transfer in and out of the car.
You can also personalise your Argon² and make it truly unique with 32 colour options for the frame, wheel rim, hub castor forks and upholstery trim.
The Argon 2 is also compatible with the Empulse F55 and Streetjet power add-on's from sunrise medical.
